In grid.common.js, there are quite a few functions with fairly general names like checkValues, checkDate, checkTime, findPos, not "encapsulated" via standard jQuery system of adding functions as a property of $ or its subfunctions. In other words, if you have a function called findPos in your own code, you will have a function conflict (that's what I had recently).
Is it possible to rewrite grid.common.js and other code which makes calls to these functions to get rid of un-namespace protected functions to avoid such conflicts? I think it really makes sense.
