multiselect rows uncheck when clicking previous row

When trying the multiselect example on this site, do not use the header checkbox.

Start at row 1, select each checkbox for all visible rows. Bow go back to the first row, uncheck the checkbox. Both row 1 and row 2 are unchecked. Recheck row 1, then row 2. Now row 3 got unchecked when row 2 was rechecked. When you check row 3, row 4 gets unchecked, etc.

I have searched this entire forum, and I cannot believe no one has noticed this behavior or reported on it. I thought it might just have been the version of jquery I was using in my app, or the version of jqgrid, or a mismatched combination. However, since this behavior happens on the exmaples provided on your site, I know it is an issue with the plugin.

Thank you for looking into why this happens, I eagerly await your response.
