Hello,
Does anyone have an example of uisng this method? When I run it like this..
$("#myTreeGrid").SortTree("desc");
I don't see anything happen. I am running this line in the gridComplete event (which is being called fine). I have also tried running this line from a button with the same result.
Thanks,
Doug

Hello,
You are close, except that you should use it like this
$(”#myTreeGrid”).SortTree(1); // use 1 for asc and -1 for desc order.
I recommend you to use other most common methods like sortGrid - see docs.

Thanks for the help Tony!
just an fyi, I was looking at this page for documentation..
http://www.trirand.com/jqgridw.....i:treegrid
And in the description for the parameter "direction" for the SortTree method it says..
"Direction is 'asc' or 'desc'; sorts the tree with the currently set sortname (sortname is from grid option)"
I did however use the sortGrid method instead and it seem to be working great. Thanks again!
