jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello

When loading a TreeGrid page I would like to initially selected a specific row.

I already tried

jQuery("#list").jqGrid({

 ...

});

jQuery('#list').setSelection(3);

But that does not seem to work, even with the latest 3.6.1. Probably because at the time the setSelection() is executed, the grid data has not yet been loaded via AJAX.

Can anybody give me a hint where I should put the setSelection() ?
