Hi,

I am using the treegrid to show sth like a rights control. For this I create for every entrie in the treegrid a checkbox where you can submit the rights or not.

The checkboxes and the treegrid are shown so far. What I need in addition is how to mark the checkbox as enabled or not. The problem is, even in your example, that it doesn`t matter if I click on the checkbox or not. The status of the checkbox(checked or unchecked) is not changed.

Thxs

I guess I understand now the behaviour. If I click on the checkbox and change the checkbox state from unchecked to checked then its only commited if I press the enter button or the tab button. There is no effect if I only click with the mouse in another field. (the checkbox state is left as it was)

try online example with Using Events: Change Client 3 of field client from 3 to 1 and don`t commit with enter or tab just click on another field. The formerly changed field remains the same.

But from the docu another behavious is described:

The cell is saved when we press [Enter] again, when we press [Tab], or when we click on another cell.

The marked one is what I need, because its strange to move from the mouse cursor to the enter or tab key, only to submit a change.

Is there a workaround or can I handle this with the editRow method?

Thx in advance

AH

Hello,

Does this mean that you use treegrid with celledit?

I will look at this, since it seems to be very usefull.

hi,

yes, I do use celledit with treegrid. But not the treegrid itself, only the additional columns. But the behaviour described seems to be in all the grids not only the treegrid.
