Hi all,
I think I have discovered a little bug in JqGrid 4.4.5.
I used :
datatype : "local",
treeGrid : true,
treeGridModel: 'adjacency'
colNames = [ "col1", "col2"],
colModel = [ {name:'title_Col1', hidden:true}, {name:'title_col2'}]
I have added all rows with 'addChildNode'.
The jqGrid data was displayed as standard rows instead of treeGrid, however, if I ask a row with 'getNodeChildren' method, all children was returned correctly. This is just a display bug. This bug is not present when the first element of colModel is not hidden, like that:
colNames = [ "col2", "col1"],
colModel = [ {name:'title_col2'}, {name:'title_Col1', hidden:true}]
I have not tested other thing than datatype:local and addChildNode method

Hello,
In you case you will need to set ExpandColumn
datatype : "local",
treeGrid : true,
treeGridModel: 'adjacency',
ExpandColumn : 'title_col2',
colNames = [ "col1", "col2"],
colModel = [ {name:'title_Col1', hidden:true}, {name:'title_col2'}]
