Hello All,

Due to the bug in grouping module (which breaks grouping at all) we released 4.4.3 version.
The bug is fixed and you can download the fixed version.

Enjoy

There is a problem with new jQuery 1.9:

The $.browser property, that provides information about the web browser that is accessing the page, does not supported now. jqGrid doesn't work in the jQuery 1.9 at all.

@aavolkoff

What can be be done to help migrate at the moment is to include one of the following right after including jquery

I'm testing jqGrid with jQuery 1.9. and so far it appears to work.

If you need JS console messages use

<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-migrate-1.0.0.js"></script>

otherwise use

<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-migrate-1.0.0.min.js"></script>

Hi,

I have been trying to use JqGrid 4.3 with JQuery 1.9 and Jquery UI 1.10, but it throws me below error.  On analysis, I came a across a post where it says that $.browser function(which JqGrid is trying to use) has been deperecated since JQuery 1.3 and has been completely removed from JQuery 1.9 onwards. Can you please suggest a fix/workaround to make JqGrid work with JQuery 1.9?

[17:04:27.429] TypeError: b.browser is undefined @ jquery.jqGrid.min.js:426

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Pankaj

Hello,

Currently 4.4.3 version does not support jQuery 1.9

The version which will support it will be published this week.
