jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi everybody, I've been trying to reload a grid when loadComplete executes this because I set a parameter that I want the grid to take it when the grid reload takes place.

Here is my code:

    jQuery("#"+gridId).jqGrid(
                        {
                            data : data,
                            datatype : "local",
                            height : '100%',
                            weight : 1000,
                            colNames : cols,
                            colModel : model,
                            viewrecords : true,   
                            rowNum : 20,
                            rowList : [ 20, 30, 40, 50 ],
                            pager : '#pager',
                            multiselect: true,
                            subGrid : true,            
                            loadComplete:function(data){
                                jQuery("#"+gridId).setGridParam({rowNum:10});
                                jQuery("#"+gridId).trigger("reloadGrid");
                            }
                        });
                    });

I set rowNum param to 10 and then I reload the grid, but nothing happens, is there something wrong?
