Hello All,

I created a JQGrid and i want to use the altRows property which create a "zebra" effect on the grid rows.

I wrote the code bellow:

 $('#tblParams').jqGrid({
datatype:
'local',
height: 400,
width: 740,
colNames: [
'ParamID', '’˜ÂŠ', '‘…‚ š’˜‰“', '’˜‰‹„'],
colModel: [
{ name:
'ParamID', index: 'ParamID', width: 90, key: true, resizable: false, hidden: true},
name:
'ParamName', index: 'ParamName', width: 90, resizable: false},
{ name:
'ParamValue', index: 'ParamValue', width: 90, key: true, resizable: false},
{ name:
'Edit', index: 'Edit', width: 50, resizable: false, formatter: 'link'}],
imgpath:
'../JS/jqGrid/themes/iPost/images',

altRows: true,

viewrecords: false,
onCellSelect:
function(rowid, iCol, cellcontent)
{}
});

As you can see in the mark line i wrote  altRows: true
but my grid is not change and all the lines are with the same color.

Can someone help me please with this problem?

Thanks.

Hello,

If this is a 3.5 version this is not supported due to missing implementation of altRows in UI Theme roller.

Regards

Tony

Do you intent to do this anyway without the themeroller support or are you gonna wait for them to implement this. I really liked that function and it stops me from using the much nicer 3.5 version.

Without the theme roller support people can create there own css...

It's not the cleanest solution but in the meantime I did this to get the alt to work.

Each alt row gets the ui-priority-secondary class from jquery.ui themes

in the jqgrid css file i added this line.

.ui-jqgrid tr.ui-priority-secondary td { background: #COLOR_CODE; }

And it works. Cool
