Hello,
I try to create a jquery-ui button into my jqgrid cells and i have to put the javascript code into each cell containing the button to transform it into jquery-ui button.
The problem is that i get a weird tooltip that contains javascript (see the demo please hover the first column to see the tooltip), and so i used the "cellattr" attribute to overwrite the tooltip text with the correct value.
Can anybody tell me if is there any other solution? is it a safe practice to have a javascript into jqgrid cell? is there any potential
risks?

In your colModel item again with the formatter add a option
formatter: myFunction,
title : false
...

Thank you for your reply.
I need tooltip in my cells especially when column width is smaller than the content within (the tooltip can show me the entire cell content without resizing my jqgrid column width).
