I'm confused by the Search demos. I was expecting to see some kind of textbox where the user would enter some search text.

They don't have that. One of them has a line of text which says:

The Query from the search can be shown to the user.

I'm not sure what to make of that.

Are the search demos complete?

Finally figured the search stuff out. You have to click the magnifying glass icon.

Note, from a ux perspective, this should have been obvious to me. It wasn't.
