jqGrid Â 4.5.2 - jQuery GridÂ

Hello,

i'm creating a usercontrol with a jqGrid, width dynamic column, datas..

my problems is with "Header Width"..Â

config jQgrid:

gridview: true,
autowidth: false,
shrinkToFit: false

colModel without "width" attribute.

in loadComplete event, i try to force width with firstRow for each column without success.

Can you help me? thanks

Hello,

The problem maybe is in your configuration. Since you load the columns dynamically it is possible that if you use repeatItems set to true. In this case th number of header columns defined in colmodel does not equal to the number of columns in the response.

Hello,

i check result HTML and i have 8 TH for headers and the same 8 TD foreach row..

With Chrome debugger, each TH 187px width

The problem is IF one data in column is too long, headers not resize.. the last column takes 400px.. and no 187px.. that's why i have a problem..
