By default Enter and Tab when used in Cell Editing will cause the cell to be saved. I only want the cell to be saved when the user clicks on another cell and the Enter and Tab characters to be taken in as any other character and added to the cell value. How do I get this behavior ? Thanks in advance.

Answering my own question, I had to modify the grid.celledit.js file and changed the binding of the Enter key:
$("input, select, textarea",cc).bind("keydown",function(e) {
...
if (e.keyCode === 13) {
... my code here ....
