I want to show all the rows in the editable format when the grid is loaded and link up a save button to save all of the row fields back to the server.
I'm able to call editRow on each row after the grid is loaded, but when i try to view the rowData, it has an input tag with no value.
How can i achieve this?

How you try to "view the data"? - getRowData is not compatible with the editing mode. Also serch the forms foor this.
