Load data into textarea

Hi there ^.^

I load my grid data from a oracle DB with xml datatype, but one of the rows must return a multiline text. My XML structure is that (summarized:P)

- <rows>

- <row id="1">

- <cell>

- <![CDATA[

Abre un pedido para lanzar las OT's de m&aacute;quinas para stock, pero luego cuando la m&aacute;quina 
va para un cliente tendr&iacute;a que cambiarla de pedido.

After loading the grid, i use an onSelectRow event to show the full text into a textarea (in the grid it shows summarized). But when i use Iexplorer for showing the grid it doesnt looks like the original text, no line breaks, no tabulations, etc but in Firefox, safari, Chrome.... it shows breaks and tabulations.

I dunno why, some help?

Hello,

IMHO this is not a jqGrid problem.

Try to alert the value before putting it into the element.

What is the alert in IE and in FF? I think they are the same.

Yes, i'm also thinking that this not a jqgrid problem :S

Yes it is not jqGrid problem.

getRowData uses jQuery html function for this purpose.
