I'm having a hell of a time getting the layout of the grid working.

The columns won't fill the width of the grid, no matter what values I give them, and the pager at the bottom is missing the bottom half – like it is hidden below the bottom of the enclosing div. The alternate row styling is set but isn't appearing.
Obviously there's only a handful of records in the database, but I'm assuming that's not the issue.
I started this by copy-and-pasting the code from one of the example demos. I'd add the code, but this forum software doesn't seem to like that.
What code have I screwed up?

Hello,
It seems there is another CSS which make this problem.
I can recommend you to use only the grid in a page and the add step by step the other CSS and see which one make this problem.
