Jqgrid + validation plugin issue

I´m using the bassistance jquery validation plugin to validate a form that also contains a jqgrid 3.5 table, when I click on the submit button without alter the grid the validation works, but when I modify the grid the browser throw the error:

'settings' is null or not an object,

There are some kind of conflict by using both plugins because of some overriding of the settings??

This error just appears on IE8 in firefox works great.

Any help will be very appreciate ...

Hello,

If you try to validate the form without jqGrid do you have the same result?

Hi,

If I validate the form without use the jqgrid it works, it's because I think the jqgrid override the settings of the validate in IE8

Could not help if there is a no link to the problem. Sorry. The same should apply to the author of the validation plugin.
