On click of the search button in the jqgrid we get a dialog in which the user gives a search criterion and then clicks on find, the jqgrid does a post back with the AjaxCallBackMode = Search and then gets the data, filters the records based on the search criterion selected by the user and displays the records on the grid, So far so good.
Now when the user clicks on a row in the grid (filtered data) it does a post back again and with the ajaxcallback mode =RequestData (Since i need the OnRowSelect event in my server side). Now when the page reloads the selected row remians selected but along with that it also gets the rest of the data from the datasource and displays all the records in the grid.
Is there a way in which the jqgrid can display only those records that have been filtered using the search dialog even after the OnRowSelect event ?

Hello,
I'm not sure that I understand the problem.
Moreover it seems you use our commertial ASP.NET grid.
If this is the case, please post your problem here
