jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I need the "available" columns (right panel) in a jqGrid column chooser dialog to be sorted alphabetically whenever I remove a column from the left panel (selected columns).

This does not seem to work correctly. For some columns, they get inserted into the correct position on the right-side list. But in some cases it fails.

For e.g. if my left-panel list contains column names - "Name", "Error", "Activity" and if I remove the columns in that order, then they must be displayed as "Activity", "Error", "Name". But they end up getting displayed randomly. In some cases, the column removed gets appended to the end of the list and in other cases, it gets inserted at the correct position.

I looked at ui.multiselect.js - _setSelected method where the logic of sorting the list is present but it does seem to have some flaws.

Can someone throw some light on this feature and let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done in getting this to work.

Our jqGrid consists of more than 30 columns. It would be nice to have the list sorted.
