Thank you Tony and congratulations for this great plugin!
Here is my problem:
- I applied the script on your demonstrations site : jqGrid demos / Row Editing / Input Types. By using a local data source, as in the demonstration script.
- Everything works fine except that when editing, [Enter] and [Tab] does not trigger anything! I think I have understood that the method editRow(id, true) normally manage the edit and save data. But nothing happens with me.
- Knowing that my grid is in a form page. I wondered if the "input" in the grid  were not affected by the form. So I exit the grid from the form. But nothing had change, only [Esc] cancel the edit.
Thank you to send me a little light with this hard point.

Best regards
Heirem

I understood the problem.
It is mandatory to give a value to "editurl", even if there is no extern source of data and only an array, and event if the file provided to "editurl" is empty! What is rather surprising.

In looking at the content of functions editRow and saveRow. I think it would be easy to avoid that. When I will have time I would suggest perhaps change in "grid.inlinedit.js", that will avoid the call to "$. ajax", based for example on
"$t.p.data".

But perhaps you have already tried and that is a problem?
Best regards

Hello,

In the upcomming release 3.4 there will be a method that save the data locally without using the ajax.

Regards

Tony
