indicate which row has been sorted?

First, thank you for a great plugin!

Question: Is there any way to manually set the column header to show which column has been sorted on when the grid first loads? I want the user to be able to see which column was sorted by the server at the time of the first load. I can't find an API call to do that?

If I understand right when first load the grid and sortname is set there must be indication - right? I will see if I can prepare this for the final. But I recommend you to wait for 3.2 final there are new very usefull methods for this.
