hi,

I need to learn jQuery Grid plugin..  but just don't know where to begin.. I have used jQuery plugins before and have always found documentation very easily...

but can't find tutorial/documentation here..  on the Wiki pg

I just see "background" paragraphs and "updates" sorry, but don't see actual documentation/instructions.....

the jQuery Grid home pg redirects to a blog...

where is the actual documentation or an introduction?? I don't even know exaclty what this plugin does...

and regarding downloads, how am I supposed to know exactly what to download here?

http://www.trirand.com/blog/?page_id=6

should I just download everything?  does download come with documenation?

thank you...

ok, found documentation @ bottom of dl pg..

Introduction doesn't start till page 19… ;-)    ("bug fixes", etc.. don't mean anything if you're not familiar with the plugin…;-)

I guess now I just have to figure out what exactly to download…

(good thing I know jQuery and have used other jQ plugins…;-)

If you can make any recommendations/useful tips for getting started I would appreciate it..

(I have Tomcat, PHP env, and MySQL already installed in my machine…)

it sounds like a powerful plugin…

thank you..

(PS: the download pg url in the PDF documenation on pg 20

(http://trirand.com/jqgrid/jqGrid.zip) is a non-existent url....)

I don't have the file structure described in pg 20 AT ALL..

I downloaded everything on this pg http://www.trirand.com/blog/?page_id=6

but there are just three .js files in "js" folder, and seven .js files in "plugins" folder..

and apart from i18n, css, & src folders that's it..

there is no jquery.jqGrid.js  file anywhere in the installation  (I searched..)
