Hello, can you suggest a good resource to learning JQuery and JGrid, possibly with extension to Struts 2.
I am not experienced in JavaScript, was just a casual user using only "onclick", and similar small tasks,. Complete novice to JQuery or JGrid. I am a back end programmer, and can understand the theory of a new language. But have a hard time understanding JQuery/JQGrid from just looking at the examples and trying to project them to myu needs. Are there any resources with fundamental materials? If you can suggest books, please do.

Hello,
The first that I can recommend you is to use the documentation here.
Of course the docs are not perfect.
You can use this forum to search a certain problem.
Another good resourse is StackOverflow where we have a very active community.
And the good news - Currently a jqGrid book for beginners is prepare.
Not sure when it will be available, but I hope this will be very soon.
We will inform our users here when it will be published.
Kind Regards
For professional UI suites for Java Script and PHP visit us at our commercial products site - guriddo.net - by the very same guys that created jqGrid.
