Is the ID column visible?

Add a href link to the data of that cell server side and send the request
to jqgrid.If you use xml do not forget to enclose this in CDATA

Hrmmm, that's not really an option. Maybe I'm too new at jQuery, but I can't devise any wizardry to help me find that specific column. Perhaps I could modify the jqGrid code to help me accomplish this specifically...
Any other thoughts? Would you like to see my changes if I can get this working cleanly?
