Hi Tony, everyone,
The BluePrint CSS framework is gaining popularity. It is lightweight, simple, and cross-browser. I use it myself -- a lot.
PROBLEM: The BluePrint CSS framework ships with a file named Grid.CSS, just like jqGrid does.
My Solution: I rename the jqGrid file to jqGrid.CSS and life is sweet. However this is error-prone and someday I expect I may inadvertantly clobber an entire website when I upgrade jqGrid. It is an easy mistake to make.
Additionally: the notion of grid-based CSS layouts is pretty widespread beyond Blueprint. For example, 960Grid.
Therefore: I recommend that the jqGrid project consider moving towards renaming Grid.css to something less likely to conflict with present and future CSS frameworks.
Cheers!
