jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello,

I am not doing inline editing but I open a form to edit selected row. I want to edit mulitiple rows and submit all at once in the end.  I tried to work with navButtons to navigate the selected rows but if I depended on that I had two problems one is it did not save the values I changed and second is when I clicked next it kept on selecting values from the grid which I do not want to.

I added 2 buttons (back and next) which will only loop through the selected rows for editing, I click on edit button to open edit form and from there I navigate to the selected rows. Problems I have is:

1) I selected 3 rows (or can be more than that) when I click the third row (and there on) the values are not populated, I populate edit form is with below statement ..

 jQuery("#Grid").jqGrid('editGridRow', selectedIds[nextRowIndex], nextRowVal);

2) I edited second row and clicked next to go to the thrid one. But when I click on the back button I want the form to populate the edited values. 

 jQuery("#Grid").jqGrid('editGridRow', selectedIds[prevRowIndex], prevRowVal);

this is not happening
