Edittype 'custom' problem

I try create grid with editoptions":{"custom_value":"my_value","custom_element":"my_elem"} and "edittype":"custom".

When I click edit button I get pop-up message 'function custom_value undefined'. But I defined function my_elem (value, options) {} and function my_value(elem, operation, value) {}.

What I do wrong?

Hello,

You set the function as string.

One possible solution is not to enclose it like this:

function my_value(...) {...}

function my_value(...) { ...}

...

editoptions":{"custom_value":my_value,"custom_element": my_elem }

By the way, please try first to read the docs before to ask.
