I am using jqGrid 3.4.3 with the following setup
cellEdit: true,
cellurl: "/blah/ blah",
cellsubmit: 'remote',
beforeSubmitCell: function (row, col, val, iRow, iCol) {...}
I am getting double POST for each cell that I edit. I am moving to the next cell with TAB. Has anybody else seen this, any idea what I can try?
Thanks!

Tony,
Thanks for your reply. Here is what I do in that function, table is my own datastructure.
beforeSubmitCell: function (row, col, val, iRow, iCol) {
var fieldName = table.dictionary[iRow-1].D;
// calculate the date
var splits = table.startTime.split("-");
var month = parseInt(splits[1]) + iCol -1;
var year = parseInt(splits[0]);
if ( month > 12 ) {
year = year + 1;
month = month - 12;
}
var args = { method: 'save', val: val, fieldName: fieldName, dateName: year + "-" + month + "-01" };
return args;
},

Hello,
Do not understand what you mean for double post ( you have two post requests or the values are doubled), but the args array that you return is extended every time with the values from the cell contents when you save it.
