Hi guys,

I am a newbie here. I found a really bizarrer issue with my program.

I first tried using datatype:xml. The server program returns valid xml file but my grid is always blank...

I then tried to save the response to a static xml file and set it in the grid's url. This time, it worked....

I then tried to call jquery "get" on the same server side program and then assigned the response to a variable and then used the variable as "datastr" and set my grid to use xml string as data type.  It worked fine too...

Same server side program, same response string... I am stuck.Confused   Any suggestion where I should check?

Thanks,

Henry

[Solved] It is not a grid issue. It was due to the way the backend program returned the xml file. I think IE treated the xml file as html file. I changed the backend program and it is working now.
