Confirmation dialogue after successful validation on server side in JQGrid

I am using afterSubmit event to show any validation error or server side error in the edit dialogue.Now my requirement is that when the validation is successful,A confirm dialogue with custom message will be populated and he needs to confirm whether he wants to save data to database or not.If he select yes then the data will be saved to the Database if he selects no then he will come to edit dialgue,is there any way to perform this?

You can succefully use beforeSubmit event.

Thanks for the reply Tony.

However I am validating my data on the server side like the input date with the date stored in the DB.If the date needed to be changed in DB then it opt for user to do it and if not then he will back to the form.I was able to successfully stored the data in the DB without any confirmation but however the requirement change.Hoping the requirement is clear ,let me know if you need further details.
