Please provide the native "minLength" and "maxLength" options in editrules.
And focus back to the error block back when the error msg occur in celledit.

Is any live example for the custom_func ? Especially for passing mutiple vars to custom_func.

Not sure what you mean with mutiple variables. Also look in the demo site. I will update the demo files after publishing 3.6.1
