Hi,

I want to buid a window file browser like interface with JqGrid, i want to know if we can include icons with data.

Like when we select subGrid options a image or icon appears, can we have similar functionality with normal data, E.G i am displaying icons view then i must have icons and file name , different icons for image, doc etc

Not sure what you want to do but you can check the examples page to see what could be done with jqGrid (http://trirand.com/jqgrid/jqgrid.html)

New in version 3.3->TreeGrid there are some icons. But they looks hardlinked

I also need icons, pictures loaded from DB(not necessary BLOB picture from DB, but cen be link to picture on FTP server.. ) and display them inside of Grid

For Ex. Product list with Name, Price and Picture of product etc..

Is it possible with current stable version??

Hi.

Credit for this answer goes to Tony for he mentioned it in an earlier thread.

For waht you want you could possibly use tree grid for folder structure and for the pictures and all else needed, just pass the html source through the server response.

For example.

colNames: ['Item','Image','Price'],
colModel: [ name:"item",index:"item"....},
... ],

then server response could be:

rows : [
[id:"1", cell:["item", "html img tag",...]],
...
