Hi there, I've had a look through jqGrid and I can't seem to find this feature, so apologies if it exists. If it does, please let me know how to implement it! if not, then I would like to suggest it for future versions.
The idea is that rows with data which can't quite be read could be given a '+' button to expand. The best way I can demonstrate this is to use someone else's implementation which is done on tables:

I think this would be a great feature to have if it isn't in already, thanks

Hello,
Not sure what you mean, but you can use a subgrid module to insert what you want contend below the row.

hi Tony - if you look at the link I posted and go to examples, you will see what I mean. The subgrid module is great but this is something simpler. An option whereby If the text of a row does not fit into the row, you would be able to click the '+' and the whole row would expand downwards so that all the text could be seen.
