A "copy" button would be a valuable and easy addition to the Form Edit mode. It would just need to set the "id_g" to "_empty" then continue to submit as normal. Here are the changes I made to grid.formedit.js (version 3.4.3) to do this:
Add at line 213:
Use this new variable at line 215:
Set the click event to clear the ID and continue submit at line 225:
$("#id_g","#"+frmtb).val("_empty"); // Remove the ID so it looks like an "add" operation
$("#sData", "#"+frmtb).click(); // "Click" the submit button
});
This could be an optional feature, disabling by just setting bCopy to an empty string.
Thanks,
Ben

Hello,
IMHO this is supported in add mode with the following settings:
closeAfterAdd : false,
clearAfterAdd : false,
Best Regards
Tony
