I'm looking for a usabillity feature known from desktop spreadsheet applications:
When double clicking a collumn header it should get as wide as the content (like spreadsheets do and any operating system).
I've read this in the EXT-JS forum: "If the content of the last column is wider than the column-width then I can double-click the column-right-side to auto-set the width of the column to the content of the widest cell in this column."
... so if I move the mouse to the right of a table header column, the column resizability is recognized and the mouse pointer is changed to a resize pointer.
... so the only thing that is missing is to resize the column on double click to the width of the largest cell content for that column.
Kind regards,
Klaus.
