Hi Tony,
I'm using keys=true in inline editing, so when the operator presses <Enter>, the save happens. What I don't see is a way of checking that the row is complete before heading to the server; what would be nice is something like the beforeSubmit function in form editing.
Ideally, if this function returns false, the saving stops and leaves the row in edit mode.
This could be added as the 7th function on the editRow method and the 9th in saveRow, not really logical, but avoids messing up existing code.
The reason this is important is that when using a select/dropdown in the row, there is a habit of scrolling to highlight the one you want and then pressing <Enter> to select it. It's burned me a lot of times and I'm sure my clients will hate it if it happens to them.
Thanks
Reg

Reg,
Thank you for this. It have sence, but currently adding too much parameters to this method (it have 7 or 8 for now) is not good approach.
I consider the possibility to change this something like:
editRow(rowid, params) where params is a object where you can put parameters in arbitrary order. I mean:
params = { keys: true, beforeSubmit: function ......}
The problem here is that the existing users should not change thier code. Maybe before I speak about this. I will search for good solution about this.
Regards
Tony
