I wonder if Jq mobile http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.1.0/.....vents.html
Now you have a basic grid that work OK in jq mobile as far as i see
YOU would be the frist in the mobile world to be there
!!!!Now phase 2 would be some real workadd the touch specfic events, add jq mobile html5 data- attributes
to style inputs & get that native look & feel
I dont think this would require a different base code stream & then the touch specfic event could
just be a a differentinclude like the css sheets
thoughts ??

Hi Tony,
I was about to start changing the source to make JQGrid work better with mobile devices, but if there is a JQMobile version on its way i will wait for that and leave myself an upgrade path!
On the mobile version it woudl be great to see:
1. Use touchstart not click for events
2. Inline editing should bring up the soft keyboard and highlight the text in the textbox
3. Inline editing should allow you to set the if the input will be type "text" or "number" to make sure the soft keyboard is showing the correct keys.
Other than that it works really welll already. I would be happy to test the release for you.
Thanks,
C
