Is there an XmlHttpRequest callback?

We have sorts that take some time, and if you click multiple times on a sort, there isn't a good way for me to abort the previous XmlHttpRequests.

Hello!

I find your suggestion very intersting. Currently you can use /jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:events&s[]=loadbeforesend#list_of_events, http://www.w3.org/TR/XMLHttpRequest/#error-flag and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3616823/jquery-ajax-error-handler-doesnt-work/3617710#3617710. The aborted requests could be interpret as a successful or not. I recommend  you to test carefully in different browsers which behavior will have jQuery.ajax and jqGrid in the case of aborting of the pending request.

Best rgards
Oleg

P.S. In the future it would be probably good to implement a close behavior as standard jqGrid.
