Is there a way to use jqGrid without the table view? I'll explain...
I love having the sorting bar at the top (sorting, column selecting/reordering, etc) and I love the pager (navigation of data). But I don't want to have my data displayed as a table. I want rows for my data, but NOT a separate cell for each column field. Think of the way Amazon or eBay items are displayed. They each have their own rows, but all the data inside the rows isn't in a table/cell format.
I'd like to be able to basically have an eBay item view, but with the top sort bar for sorting and such and the pager. So I could still click columns to sort the data (the eBay example would have item name, description, price, time left, etc), but all the rows would be formatted HTML or something else that I generate from my view preferences.
Does this feature already exist or is there a possibility of adding it in?

Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I think that currently this can not be achieved.
Best Regards
Tony
