hello,

I'm new to jquery and I'm looking for a grid control that supports freezing or fixing columns. That is, these columns cannot be scrolled horizontically. Just like MS Excel does. IMHO the current release of jqGrid does not provide this. Are there any plans or does someone of you has implemented this and can give me some hints ?

TIA

Currently the feature is not yet implemented in jqGrid. On the main jqGrid page http://www.trirand.com/blog/ under the "Polls" (http://www.trirand.com/blog/#polls-3) you can find the list of the suggested new features planned in the next versions of jqGrid. You can vote the most important for you feature.

Best regards
Oleg
