In my database PHP script, when there is only one row in the table, I set <page> to 1 and <total> to 1 (and of course <records> to 1). This makes sense to me, that we are viewing page 1 out of 1 total pages.
For efficiency, I set reloadAfterSubmit:false. If I start with an empty grid, it shows 0/0, which sounds fine to me. But, as soon as I add a new row, shouldn't it change to 1/1 (through its own bookkeeping)?
