First off I would like to say well done on a great plugin! I can only imagine the work that you have put into this project.
I was implementing this into a 'dashboard' for one of the extranets that I have built and maintain. I was using the jquery UI tabs (nested ones actually that I found here ... http://cse-mjmcl.cse.bris.ac.u.....16949.html )
The problem that I have encountered is that the modal boxes and error messages are appended to the body tag. This makes the error messages etc either above or below the tabs and not in the particular content tab, this makes it very hard to have multiple grids in this tab system (others too maybe?)
How about adding another div around the table and scroller div OR appending / prepending those elements to the table.
Another option might be to add a config option to say what element to append those kids of things too. I know that the modal script is separate from the jqgrid, but I think it would be great to fix this potential bug/issue
Thank you, and once again, GREAT plugin.

Hello,
Thank you. Actually this can be done easy, adding additional parameter to the navigator pointing where to create the modal. I will add this in the to do list for the next release.
Best Regards
Tony
