jqGrid will not even load. Get an instant error in Firebug:

$t.p is undefined

I'm using the latest version of jqGrid 3.6.2. I'll try to debug some more.

Check your configuration. We have tested with jQuery 1.4 and untill now no problems.

You are correct, jqGrid was not the one causing the problems. It's the jqueryui library that is not yet compatible with jquery 1.4. That was crashing my page and throwing an error that made me think it was jqGrid.

I guess jquery ui 1.8b1 is compatible, but I haven't tested yet.

Did anyone test it fully with jQuery 1.4 and jQuer UI 1.8rc1 ?

Did you include backwards compatibility plugin for jQuery 1.3 (to be used with jQuery 1.4)?
