jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Basically I'm trying to get the jqGrid to work a bit like the PropertyGrid component of various GUI toolkits such as wxWidgets, Qt etc...

I've setup a jqGrid with two columns ('property' & 'value') & what I want to do is effectively define a different cell edit type & formatter per cell in the 'value' column..

This would be something like:-

[Property]         |       [Value]

Name                |       "propertyname"

Age                   |       24

Picture              |       [img]

etc...

Is there a way I can do this, maybe using a custom formatter + some custom functions for event handling?
