Hello, I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the differences between jqGrid that is hosted here on trirand.com and the jqGrid for PHP/ASP.NET that is hosted on trirand.net. The one on trirand.net has a 30-day trial, and has no customization in terms of packages to install, and has a license fee after the trial expires. The one here is free and open-source.
What gives?
Thanks.

For professional UI suites for Java Script and PHP visit us at our commercial products site - guriddo.net - by the very same guys that created jqGrid.

Tony,
Thank you so much for your reply. For whatever reason, I wasn't able to come across that post myself.
So, to sum it up, the differences:
Free JQGrid:
-JQuery Javascript-only plugin
-Free, open source
-Community-based updates
PHP/ASP JQGrid:
-JQuery Javascript plugin + ASP/PHP backend to handle CRUD operations
-Yearly licensing, open source for a fee
-Corporate-level updates and support with license purchase
