Guys

I am quite a new to jquery, jqgrid. I have got some basics in javascript. Sometimes I have to spend a lot of time to look for ridicules errors in scripts.

Do you know some nice debugging methods of jqgrid, jquery and javascripts?

What are your methods of solving problems with debugging scripts?

Majkel

milestogo80,

there is firebug lite (http://getfirebug.com/lite.html) which apparently runs in IE, Safari and Opera and offers some of the functionality of Firebug.  Check it out...

I've never used it, but it should be good.

You can use Visual Studio Web Development Express with IE.

Allows you to debug server side at the same time if its written in MS code. It might work with PHP code as well if local IIS is setup to process it.

see http://www.sitepoint.com/forum.....p?t=535468 to find out how to debug in VSExpress.

If you purchase VS, its easier to configure and there is more functionality.
