[Custom Ajax Function] - How Can I set a function for ajax load function

Hi All.

instead of passing the parameter url:'server.php?q=2'. Can I pass a function to manually posting to server like.

url: function(jqGridParams) {

//Because I want to store the jqGridParams to the ViewModel to Restore the Grid State.

$.ajax({

url: ''server.php?q=2',

success: function(data) {

}

})

}

Are there any options to play with this. Thanks !
