Hello Tony,

please read the question and my answer which describe the problem. The current implementation of toggleToolbar don't shows or hide the searching toolbar in the frozen column because of cut&paste (or typing) bug. The line of the grid.custom.js

trow2 = $t.p.frozenColumns === true ? $("tr.ui-search-toolbar",$t.grid.hDiv) : false;

should be fixed to the following

trow2 = $t.p.frozenColumns === true ? $("tr.ui-search-toolbar",$t.grid.fhDiv) : false;
