Hi Tony,

Again, thank you for such an wonderful plugin.

I just noticed a issue while running jqGrid 3.8 with grouping in compatibility mode in IE8.

Although I have shrinkToFit set to yes, the grid expend itself a little after grouping and displays both horizontal and virtical scrollbars. The same grid doesn't display any scrollbar when compatibility mode is turned off...

We do have some users running our site in compatibility mode... Any throught?
