browser: IE9 (document mode IE8 standards)

jquery: 1.9.0

jquery-ui: 1.10.0

jqgrid: 4.4.3

I get the following error:

jquery-1.9.0.js, line 4411 character 2SCRIPT5022: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: # tbody:first

its because jquery 1.9 treats strings as selectors now http://stage.jquery.com/upgrad.....ctorstring, trirand will need to release a new version of jqgrid to match jquery 1.9

Hello,

It seems to me you are not read the newest blog post regarding 4.4.4 release. The 4.4.3 jqGrid is not compatible with jQuery 1.9.X.

Please, read the blog posts first.
